What cookies are likely to be installed when you visit the mutual support community?

In our case, we use cookies to optimise browsing for visitors in the mutual support community, and for statistical purposes.

What is a cookie's life?

There are two types: session cookies and permanent cookies. Session cookies are created temporarily in the subfolder of your browser when you visit a website. Once you have left the site, the session cookie is deleted.
Permanent cookie files remain in the subfolder of your browser and are reactivated when you view the website that created this specific cookie. A permanent cookie remains in the browser's subfolder for the period defined in the cookie file.
Generally speaking, a cookie remains valid for 13 months maximum.

Can I prevent cookies from being installed on my computer?
