Adam Great location in the centre of Canberra, you can get bus from outside hotel to most attractions. Additional cost for onsite parking I think around $25 / night. When we last stayed work was going on outside for the light rail. Good swiming pool and gym. Withing waling distance to shops and casino
It is virtually right in the centre of town
It's a great location close to the city shopping and restaurants nearby the one in the hotel is great as well short drives or bus to most city attractions or if you are bring bicycles. Perfect you can hire bikes as well
Easy accessible location as a base to use when visiting canberra. Close to the city centre, but to visit the tourist locations like the Art Gallery, science centre, the parliament house, maybe best to drive around or alternate check the bus timetable. You can try riding around canberra on a bike which is friendly considering its light on traffic but keep in mind there are some light rail construction outside the hotel so be careful.
Thge Novotel in Canberra is in a good location. Walking distance to the city centre and resteraunts
We loved the hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful. My husband and I like the location because it's easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. However if you want to visit attractions, eg. Parliament House, the War Memorial, the Zoo, you will need to find transport to each of these places as it is way too far to walk. I would definitely recommend you go see the War Memorial. It's an amazing place, it's beautiful but very sombre at the same time. It was the highlight of my visit to Canberra.
Great location. Easy access to the CBD and the Parliament triangle. Highly recommended
Hi, The location is reasonably close to the main shopping area in Canberra so within 5-10 mins, you can walk to the malls, cinema and some great restaurants. However, if you haven't been to Canberra, it is a very spread-out city so many of the sights (Science Museum, Art Galleries, the Mint, etc.) would be best visited by car anyway. Enjoy your trip.
very central location walking distance to restaurants, clubs, shopping and attractions. A visit to the Australian War Memorial is a must and only a short drive. Also short drive to Questacon, and other must-see attractions. You really do need more than a weekend to see all that Canberra has to offer.
Location very close to public transport hub as well as tourist buses. Close to National library, Art Galleries, National Museum, Old & New Parliament house. Walking to local shopping malls.
